Chef Marko Bonifaz was born in Dallas, Texas, graduated from The California Culinary School in San Francisco, California and fined tuned his skills in numerous restaurants across the Bay Area.

Upon his return to his native Bolivia he founded and lead some of the most important restaurants in Bolivia’s capital La Paz, revolutionizing fine cuisine using local organic ingredients.

It was this success that lead brewery “Huari” to name him the only chef in charge of promoting their premium brand.

Chef Marko Bonifaz is committed to promoting Bolivian cusine and developing future stars in the culinary world that can help him continue with his mission of making Bolivia a culinary destination.
